Bio
Maximilian Jurisic is a New York-based actor and emerging musical theater performer from Canada, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music at The Manhattan School of Music.
Entering his senior year, Max is focused on developing a grounded and dynamic presence that bridges classic and contemporary musical theatre. Most recently, he appeared as the Preacher in Violet at MSM. His past roles include Macheath in The Threepenny Opera and Durdles in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, along with ensemble work as a Swing in The Pajama Game. He has also been involved in new work and workshop settings, including Coach Goodman Mudville, and has participated in Disney Labs, performing in ensemble productions of Frozen and The Little Mermaid.
In an increasingly digital fast-paced and inward-focused world, Maximilian strives to create work that encourages empathy and awareness. Whether making audiences laugh or moving them to tears, he aims to inspire more thoughtful, compassionate perspectives, reminding us of the shared humanity that connects us all.
